A Mighty, Mighty BIG Event is Headed to Brainerd!
Minnesota builders, remodelers and industry professionals are headed to Brainerd for our inaugural Minnesota Builders Convention where members will take our industry challenges head on and work to increase the professionalism of the industry.
The convention will take place at Cragun’s Resort January 25-27th, 2008, themed around Paul Bunyan. Full of networking and learning opportunities along with great social activities, the event promises to be more fun than a 20-foot stack of flapjacks!
Educational seminars and roundtables will provide attendees with vital information on a range of important topics including: energy conservation; green building products and techniques; and quality construction practices. In addition to building knowledge, attendees will also have the opportunity to improve their business and customer services skills with discussions on contracts, insurance, and marketing.
No industry event is complete without time to wind down and socialize and the Builders Convention intends to deliver in a big way. From evening dances and hospitality suites to the great activities that the Brainerd area has to offer, there will be plenty of time for participants to enjoy the scenery and network with their fellow industry members.
The Builders Association of Minnesota will be announcing a series of awards at the Convention. Awards will include: the Citizenship Award; Distinguished Business of the Year; Associate of the Year; Builder of the Year; and Remodeler of the Year.
