Builders Association of Minnesota Wins
Association Excellence Awards!

9/19/2006 – The Builders Association of Minnesota recently received an Award of Excellence in the following categories from the Executive Officers Council (EOC) of the National Association of Home Builders: Best Service Delivered to Members, Best Communication to Members - Magazines Published, Best Communications - Update Publications and Best HBA Web Site. Awards were presented during the annual National Association of Home Builders’ 2006 EOC Seminar held at the Mohegan Sun Resort in Uncasville, Connecticut.

The council's membership consists of the staff executives who manage the more than 800 state and local home builders associations that comprise the National Association of Home Builders.

"Winning an Association Excellence Award is truly a great honor," said Sam Anderson, president of the Executive Officers Council and executive officer of the MBA of King & Snohomish Counties.  "Each award recognizes the outstanding effort, commitment and achievement an executive officer and the association membership made to further the value of involvement in the association."

The winning entries will become part of the Executive Officers Council's Idea Loan File in an effort to help other executives and associations across the country provide better service to members and their community

The Builders Association of Minnesota represents home builders and associates in the housing industry throughout the area. The association's executive officer is Pamela Perri Weaver.

“I am very proud of the accomplishments of my association and the hard work of our staff,” said Weaver. “To receive an Association Excellence Award and to be recognized by one’s peers is truly the ultimate compliment.”
