BRAINERD LAKES AREA BUSINESS LEADER GERRY TRAUT OF XCEL ENERGY NAMED ‘ASSOCIATE OF THE YEAR’

Brainerd Lakes area business leader Gerry Traut of Xcel Energy named ‘Associate of the Year’ by the Builders Association of Minnesota.

Brainerd, MN – Gerry Traut of Xcel Energy received the prestigious Associate of the Year from the Builders Association of Minnesota on December 8,2016 at the Association’s annual gala, attended by building industry leadersfrom across Minnesota.

Mr. Traut, Associate Vice President of the Builders Association of Minnesota and President of the Mid-Minnesota Builders Association, provides valuable insight and service to the advancement of his associations, his industry, and his community. Mr. Traut commands the respect of his colleagues in the building industry, who commended him for his generosity, positivity, knowledge, and professionalism. “[Gerry] is an excellent leader,” said Colleen Faacks, Executive Officer of the Mid-Minnesota Builders Association. “He is a dedicated volunteer, and is committed to the success of the Association. [We are] a stronger association as a result of Gerry’s dedication, and we look forward to his continued leadership.”

The Associate of the Year award is presented to Builders Association of Minnesota Associate members who, through working in the home-building industry, have gone above and beyond in their dedication to their professions, their HBAs, and their communities.
